At MERSANDS, we are committed to providing our customers with premium-quality photography and framed art. To ensure confidence in your purchase, we offer a transparent and protective warranty and returns policy that reflects our standards of craftsmanship and care.

1. Coverage Eligibility

This policy applies to all framed artworks, fine art prints, and photography products purchased directly from our website. Custom pieces, limited editions, and made-to-order prints are also included, provided they are not marked final sale.

2. Warranty Period

We offer a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery. During this period, customers are eligible to request a replacement or refund in cases where the product is:

  • Damaged upon arrival (e.g., cracked frames, broken glass, severe dents)
  • Bent, creased, or otherwise compromised due to mishandling in transit
  • Printed with visible production defects that affect image quality

Please note: slight variations in paper texture, color tone due to display differences, or small imperfections from natural materials used in framing do not qualify as faults.

3. Initiating a Return or Replacement

To make a claim, email us at hello@mersands.com within 30 days of receiving your order with:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Supporting photographs of the damage or defect

Our team will respond within 2 business days to confirm next steps, which may include sending a prepaid return label or issuing a replacement directly.

4. Return Shipping and Replacements

In the case of verified damage or quality issues:

  • We cover the return shipping for eligible claims.
  • You may choose either a replacement at no extra charge or a full refund to your original payment method.
  • Replacements will be prioritized and processed within 3–5 business days.

Note: Change-of-mind purchases are not accepted..

5. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper handling or hanging after delivery
  • Wear and tear from improper use.
  • Unauthorized alterations to the artwork
  • Loss or damage resulting from exposure to moisture, direct sunlight, or extreme conditions
  • Items outside the 30-day eligibility window

6. Digital Products (Wallpapers and Downloads)

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. However, if you experience issues with file access or download quality, please contact us and we will assist in resolving the problem or re-issuing your purchase.

7. Right to Refuse Claims

MERSANDS reserves the right to decline refund or replacement requests that do not meet the conditions stated above. Fraudulent, excessive, or abusive return behavior may lead to limited access to future purchases.
